How much will it cost?
This is a very difficult question to answer without any specifications about the kind of site and complexity you require. We have a small business starter package that includes Domain name registration, complete design and hosting, if necessary starting under $500, but larger corporate sites with e-commerce and interactive databases can cost thousands of dollars.
Can I decide what I want it to look like?
Certainly, we don't use templates, so we can build your site to do exactly what you need it to.
Where does it go?
Your web site needs a location to occupy on the internet. This can be a separate space that has to be arranged or you may have some existing space attached to your E-mail account that could be utilized. Either way, we can do the arranging for you or guide you through the process.
How do I get a domain name?
We can take care of that for you or we can show you where to go on the internet, to search and register an available name for your business. Names can be registered for a little as $15/year.
How do I prepare for the initial meeting?
1)Do your own research and come to the meeting with a list of web sites and the things you like about them.
2)Write down a list of the things you want the web site to do. For example, it may have a frequently asked questions page or a procedures page or an introductory page, all designed to provide answers to potential customers, without taking you away from your business.
3)Visit the competition. See what you are up against and plan to be better.
4)Check out other web sites that are in the same professional categories.
Who does the maintenance?
The short answer is we can. In many cases it is easier for us to make occasional changes for a set or hourly fee. It is also possible for you to make changes yourself, providing you have adequate training or proper software to do the job. We can provide training or suggest programs if you require.
How do I proceed?
You can make an appointment to sit down with us and discuss your plans and requirements. We will listen to your ideas and needs and make suggestions.
After that meeting, we will provide you with a plan, an explanation of your site and a cost.
